In this Swagbucks UK guide, I will take you through all the fundamental ways to claim free cash daily on the platform.
How Does Swagbucks Work?
Swagbucks is probably the best ‘Get Paid To’ (GPT) site ever made. Users earn points called “SB” for playing games, searching the web, clicking on adverts and filling in surveys. You can redeem SB points in exchange for PayPal cash or a variety of gift cards.
I firmly believe that Swagbucks should be a part of anyone’s lazy money making strategy, whether you just want to grab the fastest and easiest points each day, or make the most out of all the earning features on offer.
If you still need to register on Swagbucks, you can claim a 300 SB by signing up via my profile link, and earning your first 300 SB.
Once you’re signed up you’ll be ready to go through all the easy earning features below:
Simply answer today’s poll question for a quick 1 SB. You can find this either by looking on your “To Do List”, or going to the “Answer” section of the site.
Search & Win
Searches performed on the built-in search engine are periodically rewarded with points ranging from 4 SB to 25 SB. When you perform a winning search, it asks you to enter a 3 letter CAPTCHA to claim your points.
It’s possible to win 3 times a day, if you are persistent enough. The best strategy seems to be pursuing a win in the morning, afternoon and at night. It helps to wait at least 30 second between searches.
You may wish to set Swagbucks as the default search engine for your browsers address bar. This makes it easier to use their search engine consistently, and you will likely get wins by accident.
Search wins are sometimes accompanied by collectible picture cards called ‘bills’ which are typically worth higher points values. Completing a collection of bills gives you an additional points bonus.
It really doesn’t seem to matter what you actually search for, by the way.
You can get 10 SB total each day by using any of the 3 browser-based puzzle games on Swagbucks– They are Pyramid Solitaire, Mahjongg Dimensions, and Alu’s Revenge 2.
You will receive 2 SB for every 2 attempts at a game, if you wait for 30 seconds between attempts.
The most efficient strategy is to make one move in the game, and then end the session using the in-game menu- This will register as an attempt. It is best to use Alu’s Revenge 2 for this purpose, as it’s the quickest game to start up, make a move, and end the gameplay.
Check out my video guide for a demonstration of how the games work:
Swagit! is basically a clone of TikTok, except you get paid to send free tips to content creators. When you gift 1 SB to a video, Swagbucks will pay 2 SB into your account. This can be done 5 times a day, giving you a net profit of 5 SB. Plus, if you’re able to upload your own videos then you can receive free tips from other users.
Swagbucks UK Swag Codes
Swagbucks release a promo code at least once a day on their UK Facebook page, which you can enter into the website to claim free points. Usually the Swag Code comes out around 4pm, and expires after 2 hours. They’re typically worth 2 or 3 SB, but occasionally Swagbucks is more generous.
The Swag Code will either be the same phrase for everyone, or it can involve a sequence of letters and numbers that’s unique to each user. In the case of the unique Swag Codes, Swagbucks gives you a link to a sponsor’s page where you can find the code (e.g. the Nike page on Swagbucks that shows cash-back offers).
What if you don’t want to sit on Facebook all today waiting for a Swag Code though? Well fear not. All you have to do is get the Twitter app on your phone, and follow the account SwagcodeSpoiler UK (@SCSpoilerUK). Enable push notifications for whenever this account tweets out a Swag Code alert, so you can effectively have Swag Codes sent straight to your phone.
This is a bit naughty, but we can access a section of Swagbucks that’s only intended for American users, to earn up to 20 SB more each day. The idea is that users print out grocery coupons, earning 1 SB for every 3 coupons printed. We don’t actually need to print the coupons for it to count though- Just save them as a PDF file.
In the ‘Shop’ menu, select ‘Grocery Coupons’. Click on the coupons that say ‘Clip coupon’ when the mouse cursor is over them (ignore ones that say ‘Click to save’). You can only get paid for up to 60 coupons a day, so if you clip too many by mistake, click on some of the coupons again to deselect them. Also make sure the number you print is divisible by 3.
The first time you “print” coupons, you have to verify an American phone number. Use the free app textPlus to create a fake USA number and receive the verification text. You won’t need to do this again unless you clear your browser data.
It may take a while for the printer window to pop up- So long that it seems nothing is happening. Be patient though, and it should appear. If it’s genuinely not working, try the option to ‘Open in a new window’.
On the printer pop-up, choose ‘print to PDF’ to save the coupon document on your computer (you can delete this afterwards).
After “printing” the coupons, Swagbucks credits your SB the next working day. They don’t always replenish the coupons daily, but you should find at least a few new ones if not 60. This is why it’s important to avoid wasting coupons by clipping over 60.
Cashing Out From Swagbucks UK
Swagbucks UK users have a lot of options when it comes to redeeming their points. The easiest threshold to reach is 480 SB for a £3 Amazon UK voucher. I’m guessing most people want real money though, in which case there’s a £5 PayPal payment for 700 SB.
In order to get the best value for your points, you may want to consider the £10 Mastercard gift card for 1300 SB, rather than the £10 PayPal cash-out which is 1400 SB. Bear in mind that you may encounter restrictions when it comes to where or how you can spend it.
In case you’re wondering if Swagbucks is legit and whether or not it pays, there’s nothing to worry about. I’ve cashed out my earnings hundreds of times with no issues.
People who visit Swagbucks are guaranteed to pick up free cash daily through these simple activities.
The site may seem complicated at first, but give it a chance and you will be getting free gift cards in no time.
I’ll leave you with this beginner’s tutorial video I made for Swagbucks to help tie everything together:
